Tiverton's Comedy Hall was packed on 15th August 2007 when we welcomed the world's 7th funniest comedian, Bill Bailey!

Bill is patron of International Animal Rescue, a charity originally set up in South Molton and now helping animals across the world. I was delighted to welcome Bill to Tiverton to raise funds for the charity.

It was a great night and Bill gave us not just a taster of material for his November arena tour, but also plenty of local material including an impromptu Tiverton anthem. We raised a fantastic £2000!

Thanks especially to Bill for agreeing to perform, Jane Matthews for her contacts and persistence and the New Hall for not being booked at short notice!
